A Web Development Company in Lahore, Serving South Asia
Zentro Digital is based in Sabzazar, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. We build websites, apps, AI features and marketing for businesses in Pakistan, and serve clients remotely in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and nearby countries.
Our base in Lahore
Lahore is our home and our only location. You can reach us in Sabzazar, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, by phone on +92 339 1211026, or by email at admin@zentrodigital.agency. The quickest way to start is the contact page, where you can tell us about your project.
We serve clients across Pakistan and the rest of South Asia, and many projects here have the same mix of needs: mobile-first users, local payment apps, more than one language, and data protection laws that are changing quickly. Some businesses also sell to customers in Europe or the Gulf, and need a site built to those rules as well.
Countries we serve
Data protection in South Asia is at very different stages from one country to the next.
Pakistan
There's no comprehensive data protection law in force yet. A Personal Data Protection Bill, drafted by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has not yet been passed by Parliament. In the meantime, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 penalises misuse of identity information, and sector regulators such as the State Bank of Pakistan and the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority set rules for banking data and unsolicited messages.
India
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is being brought in through the DPDP Rules, notified on 14 November 2025 with obligations phased in over the following months. UPI is the dominant way to pay instantly.
Bangladesh
A Personal Data Protection Ordinance was approved by the interim government's Council of Advisers in October 2025 and published in the official gazette in November 2025, with some parts taking effect after a transition period. Mobile wallets are widely used.
Sri Lanka
The Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, as amended, has its key controller and processor obligations taking effect on 1 January 2027.
Data protection in South Asia
Because the laws are new or still arriving, the safest approach is to build privacy in from the start: collect only the data you need, ask for clear consent, explain how data is used, and make it possible to delete it. Those habits match the direction of India's DPDP Act, Sri Lanka's PDPA and Pakistan's draft bill, and they're required anyway if you serve customers in Europe under GDPR.
| Country | Main law | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Pakistan | Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016; Personal Data Protection Bill (draft) | No comprehensive law in force yet |
| India | Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025 | Rules notified 14 November 2025, phased in |
| Bangladesh | Personal Data Protection Ordinance 2025 | Gazetted in November 2025, with a transition period |
| Sri Lanka | Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 | Key provisions from 1 January 2027 |
Laws in the region are changing quickly. We don't give legal advice; your lawyer should confirm what applies to your business.
Payments and mobile-first users
Many customers in South Asia browse and buy mainly on phones, often on mid-range devices and mobile data. We design for that first: light pages, fast loading and checkouts that work on small screens.
Payment habits are local. In Pakistan, mobile wallets such as JazzCash and Easypaisa and Raast, the State Bank's instant payment system, are common alongside cards. In India, UPI is used for a large share of everyday payments. In Bangladesh, mobile financial services such as bKash are widely used. Cash on delivery remains common in online retail across the region. We connect your store to payment providers that support the methods your customers expect. Languages and scripts
English is widely used in business across the region, but customer-facing sites often need local languages too. Urdu is written right to left, usually in the Nastaliq style, which needs fonts and line heights chosen with care. Hindi uses Devanagari, Bengali has its own script, and Sinhala and Tamil are used in Sri Lanka. We build each language with its own pages and test that the scripts display correctly. The translated copy should come from native speakers.
Time zones
Lahore runs on Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5), and Pakistan doesn't change its clocks for summer. The rest of South Asia is close by, so most of the working day is shared.
| Your location | Difference from Lahore | When it's 3pm in Lahore |
|---|---|---|
| Pakistan | Same time | 3pm |
| India and Sri Lanka | 30 minutes ahead | 3:30pm |
| Nepal | 45 minutes ahead | 3:45pm |
| Bangladesh | 1 hour ahead | 4pm |
How we work with you
Every project follows the same steps, whether you're in Lahore, elsewhere in Pakistan or in a neighbouring country.
Intro call
A video call at a time agreed with you, to understand the project, your users and your deadline constraints.
Written scope
A short document that lists what we'll build, what's out of scope and what we need from you, so nothing depends on a call someone missed.
Shared workspace
One project board and one message thread for your team and ours, so every decision is written down.
Working previews
A staging link you can open at any time, in your own time zone, to review progress.
Regular check-ins
A scheduled call at a time that works for both sides, plus written updates in between.
Launch and handover
Final checks, launch, and the access and documentation you need to run the product.
