Offshore Web Development for US and Canadian Companies

We're a web development agency in Lahore, Pakistan, serving clients in the United States and Canada remotely. We build websites, web platforms, apps and AI features, with the privacy, accessibility and language requirements North American projects bring.

Serving North American clients remotely from Lahore

We don't have an office in North America, and we don't pretend to. What we offer is a team that works in writing by default, a build process that doesn't depend on being in the same room, and staging links you can check on your own schedule.

The time difference is large: Lahore is nine to thirteen hours ahead, depending on where you are and the time of year. That shapes how a project runs, so this page explains it plainly, along with the privacy, payment and language rules that most often affect a North American build.

USA & Canada

Where we serve clients

We serve businesses across both countries. The rules below are the ones that most often shape a website or app build.

United States

There's no single federal privacy law for consumer data. Instead, a growing number of states have their own, led by California's CCPA as amended by the CPRA, with others such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas following.

Canada

PIPEDA, the federal private-sector privacy law, covers personal information collected in the course of commercial activity in most provinces. Interac is the familiar way to pay by debit.

Quebec

Quebec's Law 25 adds stricter privacy obligations, introduced in stages between 2022 and 2024. Its Charter of the French Language, as amended by Bill 96, also expects businesses to serve customers in French.

Privacy laws we build for

Privacy rules affect forms, cookies, analytics and how long data is kept, so we plan them in from the start rather than adding a banner at the end.

MarketMain rulesWhat it changes in the build
CaliforniaCCPA as amended by the CPRAA clear way to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and an up-to-date privacy notice
Other US statesState laws such as Virginia's, Colorado's, Connecticut's and Texas'sConsent and opt-out settings that can be adjusted by state
CanadaPIPEDAMeaningful consent for collecting personal information and a published privacy policy
QuebecLaw 25Opt-in consent for tracking technologies that identify, locate or profile visitors, a published privacy policy and a named person in charge of personal information

Quebec's Law 25 also asks businesses to assess privacy before personal information is sent outside the province. If we'll have access to your customers' data, that assessment should cover the work done from Pakistan. If your product also serves European users, GDPR applies to them too.

Payments and e-commerce

North American shoppers mostly pay by credit or debit card and expect digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout. In Canada, Interac is widely used for debit.

For online stores we set up checkout with your chosen payment provider, display prices in US or Canadian dollars, and handle sales tax through your platform or tax provider. Sales tax rules vary by state and province, so the calculation should come from a tax service, not hard-coded rates. See our enterprise e-commerce service for larger stores.

Language and accessibility

If you sell in Quebec, plan for French from the start. That means separate French pages with their own URLs, French versions of emails and forms, and translated legal pages. Translation itself is best done by native speakers you trust; our job is to build a site that handles both languages cleanly.

Accessibility is also a practical concern in the US, where website accessibility complaints are often brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We design and build to WCAG 2.2 level AA, which is the standard most organisations use to show their site is accessible. Our website design and UI/UX service covers this in more detail.

Time zones

Lahore runs on Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5), and Pakistan doesn't change its clocks for summer. The US and Canada move their clocks forward in March and back in November, so the gap is one hour smaller in summer.

Your locationDifference from LahoreWhen it's 7pm in Lahore
Eastern Time (New York, Toronto)10 hours behind (9 in summer)9am (10am in summer)
Central Time (Chicago)11 hours behind (10 in summer)8am (9am in summer)
Mountain Time (Denver)12 hours behind (11 in summer)7am (8am in summer)
Pacific Time (San Francisco, Vancouver)13 hours behind (12 in summer)6am (7am in summer)

With a gap this size, most collaboration happens in writing: you leave feedback at the end of your day, and Lahore's day starts while you're offline. Live calls are scheduled at a time agreed with you, usually early in your day.

How we work with you remotely from Lahore

Every project follows the same steps, built around written updates so the time difference doesn't slow decisions down.

  1. Intro call

A video call at a time agreed with you, to understand the project, your users and your deadline constraints.

  2. Written scope

A short document that lists what we'll build, what's out of scope and what we need from you, so nothing depends on a call someone missed.

  3. Shared workspace

One project board and one message thread for your team and ours, so every decision is written down.

  4. Working previews

A staging link you can open at any time, in your own time zone, to review progress.

  5. Regular check-ins

A scheduled call at a time that works for both sides, plus written updates in between.

  6. Launch and handover

Final checks, launch, and the access and documentation you need to run the product.
