A Web Development Agency for European Businesses, Working Remotely from Lahore
We're a web development agency in Lahore, Pakistan, serving clients across Europe remotely. We build websites, web platforms, apps, AI features and marketing, built for European rules from the start.
Serving European businesses remotely from Lahore
We have no office in Europe. We work with European teams remotely, in English, with written scopes and staging links, and with calls in the hours both sides share. Lahore is three to five hours ahead of most of Europe, so a European morning overlaps with a Lahore afternoon.
European rules shape a project more than most. GDPR affects every form and analytics tool, the European Accessibility Act now covers many online services, and because we work from outside the EU, any personal data we handle for you needs a transfer safeguard. This page covers each of these.
Where we serve clients
GDPR applies across the EU and the wider European Economic Area, but payment habits, languages and regulators differ by country.
Germany, Austria and Switzerland
A legal notice (Impressum) is expected on German business websites. Switzerland has its own revised Federal Act on Data Protection, separate from GDPR.
Benelux
In the Netherlands, iDEAL is a familiar way to pay online; in Belgium, many shoppers use Bancontact. Sites often need two or three languages.
Southern Europe
From Spain and Portugal to Italy and Greece, the same EU rules apply, with each country's own data protection authority and language.
Northern and Eastern Europe
The Nordic and Baltic countries, Poland and their neighbours follow the same EU framework, and many sites there need an English version alongside the local language.
European rules we build for
European rules shape the build itself, not just the legal pages. These are the ones we plan for on most projects:
| Rule | In force since | What it changes in the build |
|---|---|---|
| General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) | 25 May 2018 | Lawful basis for every form and tool, data minimisation, privacy notices, data-processing agreements with suppliers |
| ePrivacy rules on cookies | Applied through each country's national law | Consent before non-essential cookies, with refusing as easy as accepting |
| European Accessibility Act | 28 June 2025 | Accessible design for many consumer products and services, including e-commerce; WCAG 2.2 AA is the usual target |
| Strong Customer Authentication (PSD2) | Since the end of 2020 for most online card payments | Checkouts that handle the extra verification step smoothly |
We build so your legal and data protection advice can be put into practice. We don't give legal advice ourselves.
Data transfers to Pakistan
Pakistan is not on the European Commission's list of countries with an adequacy decision. That means personal data sent to a supplier in Pakistan needs a safeguard under Chapter V of GDPR, usually the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with an assessment of the transfer.
On most projects we can limit what we see: test data instead of real customer records, and access to live systems only when a task needs it. Where we do need access, a data processing agreement and the transfer clauses should be signed first. Your data protection officer or adviser should confirm the details.
Payments and e-commerce
Cards are accepted everywhere, but many European shoppers prefer local methods: iDEAL in the Netherlands, Bancontact in Belgium, and SEPA bank transfers and direct debits for business customers across the euro area. We connect your store to a payment provider that supports the methods your customers use, and show prices with VAT where required.
For multi-country stores, see our enterprise e-commerce and e-commerce SEO services.
Languages and multilingual sites
European businesses often need two or more languages. We build each language with its own URLs, translated metadata and the language tags search engines use to show the right version to each visitor. Machine translation is fine for a first draft, but customer-facing copy should be checked by a native speaker.
Time zones
Lahore runs on Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5), and Pakistan doesn't change its clocks for summer. Europe moves its clocks forward in late March and back in late October, so the gap is one hour smaller in summer.
| Your location | Difference from Lahore | When it's 3pm in Lahore |
|---|---|---|
| Central Europe (Berlin, Madrid, Rome, Amsterdam) | 4 hours behind (3 in summer) | 11am (noon in summer) |
| Western Europe (Lisbon, Dublin) | 5 hours behind (4 in summer) | 10am (11am in summer) |
| Eastern Europe (Athens, Helsinki, Bucharest) | 3 hours behind (2 in summer) | Noon (1pm in summer) |
How we work with you remotely from Lahore
Every project follows the same steps, with calls in the hours both sides share and written updates in between.
Intro call
A video call at a time agreed with you, to understand the project, your users and your deadline constraints.
Written scope
A short document that lists what we'll build, what's out of scope and what we need from you, so nothing depends on a call someone missed.
Shared workspace
One project board and one message thread for your team and ours, so every decision is written down.
Working previews
A staging link you can open at any time, in your own time zone, to review progress.
Regular check-ins
A scheduled call at a time that works for both sides, plus written updates in between.
Launch and handover
Final checks, launch, and the access and documentation you need to run the product.
